Long Time Coming

When I was 15 years old my best friend's family got a Suburban and I loved that thing. Many kids had exotic cars for dream cars, but I loved the Sub. For a few years I had a sweet black Mustang, but it wasn't the dream. After a long time coming, including much saving and a perfectly timed opportunity to sell my Explorer we bought a Suburban and I am thrilled. The deal was right and the vehicle is pretty well loaded, low miles, very clean, very large, and very inefficient - everything I hoped it would be all these years. I'm looking for a bumper sticker that says "My Suburban snacks on your Prius" The only detail I don't care for are the wheels and they are going to soon be replaced with more standard less-shiny wheels, which will prevent me from getting shot at and make for a smoother ride.

The morning after I got it I almost wrecked it when an alarm went off saying washer fluid low and I looked all around to see what it was that was going off and almost hit a little Chevy Aveo. I love that vehicle has a 400+ mile range on a single tank and that it's a good sized tank. A little pricey to fill, but not too bad. Believe it or not, it is my commuter vehicle since I only have an 8 mile one-way commute. Lucy does more driving each day than that so it's most economical for me to drive it! Yay!

22" rims, they are going to be sold to whoever wants them... I hate them.
